Machete-Poster-4 Machete-Poster-4Our next review will be of: Machete. This is a 2010 film that grew from a "trailer" included in Grindhouse, salve a "double feature" by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez. It is styled after the 70s b-movie revenge thrillers that were so popular in that timeframe.

The movie stars Danny Trejo, health Jeff Fahey, Robert De Niro, and Steven Seagal to name a few.

The full review will be available this weekend. Until then, please enjoy the Machete trailer. (Caution, language and partial nudity, so probably NSFW).

Scorchy was a starring vehicle for Connie Stevens, a television star known for her "Cute and sexy, yet innocent" roles. She had starred in supporting roles in series, her most well known role was as "Cricket Blake" in the series "Hawaiian Eye" (1959 - 1962). She also appeared as "Wendy Conway" in "Wendy and Me" (1964-1965) with co-star George Burns. (I'll let you guess who played Wendy.)

It's our sad duty to inform our readers that Bubba Smith was found dead today at the age of 66 in his Los Angeles home. He likely succumbed to natural causes.

Bubba was a NFL All-Pro defensive end. He played for the Baltimore Colts, the Oakland Raiders, and the Houston Oilers during his career which stretched from the 1960s through the 1970s.

After retiring from football, he moved into an acting career, starring in everything from television shows, to movies. He may be best know for his role in early Miller Lite commercials in the 70s and 80s. He was also known for a role he played, Police Cadet Hightower, in all but one of the police Academy movies.

Below, we've included some excerpts from his career, we hope you'll crack open a bottle of Miller Lite and drink it while you enjoy the clips.
